The Early Years

Mike was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. After, graduating with honors from Bishop Watterson High School, he chose to attend The Ohio State University.

Undergraduate

As a student at OSU, Mike was very involved in student activities and politics. While attending OSU, Mike focused his study in the area of international politics and policy. Additionally, he studied several languages including American Sign Language, Mandarin Chinese, Arabic and Farsi. Mike was an avid writer and was selected as a Finalist for Undergraduate Paper of the Year. He graduated from OSU with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in International Studies.

Law School

After attending OSU, Mike elected to attend law school at Capital University Law School, where he was graduated cum laude and was given the honor of the Order of the Curia. He was also a member of the Capital University Law Review, and served as an Associate Editor. During his time at Capital, he served as a representative on the Student Bar Association and Honor Code Appeals Committee. Additionally, Mike helped mentor incoming law students as a Fellow in the Academic Success Protocol.

Career

Mike has been with the firm since January of 2011. First as a law clerk and then upon graduation and passage of the state bar exam, Mike accepted a position as an associate attorney with Plymale & Dingus.

Mike's practice encompasses a diverse range of practice area including civil litigation (personal injury, product liability, etc.), criminal litigation, and domestic relations litigation (divorce, dissolution, child custody, etc.).
